We create value for our customers by building on our position as the principal supplier of glass containers and complementary packaging solutions in West Africa. We are the only glass container producer in Nigeria with multiple furnaces, which enables us to produce all three glass colours concurrently, in two separate facilities in different parts of the country. Our strategy involves building on these strengths, addressing customer preferences for various glass container colors and shapes, offering both generic and proprietary shapes to foster continued business growth.
As a strategic partner for beverage manufacturers, Beta Glass offers a comprehensive solution. Our integrated approach spans glass, crates, and crowns, simplifying operations and reducing complexities. The result? Nestled strategically in Agbara, Ogun State, and Ughelli, Delta State, our plants boast a combined daily glass capacity exceeding 720 tonnes. Here, innovation takes shape in our in-house design facilities, creating unique and compelling designs. Our lightweight capabilities redefine industry standards, enhancing product quality while optimizing glass weight and production costs.
Beyond manufacturing, Beta Glass integrates seamlessly into the beverage production process. With dedicated employees, our workforce ensures meticulous integrated planning. This results in a unique offering—crated glass bottles delivered straight to our customers' filling lines, a testament to our commitment to operational efficiency.
Sustainability is ingrained in our practices. Our facilities prioritize cullet utilization, emphasizing returnable glass bottles with a lifespan of 10 to 30 trips before recycling. To minimize our environmental footprint, we've invested in energy-efficient technologies, implementing an energy management system and pioneering environmentally friendly water management practices, including wastewater recycling in our own treatment plants.
