Alexander Gendis

Chief Executive Officer

Alexander Gendis is a seasoned executive leader with over 25 years in the manufacturing and packaging industries, specialising in general management, supply chain, marketing, and team leadership. His global career spans East and West Africa, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia, while his rich professional experience includes senior executive roles at Engee PET Manufacturing Company, Bel Impex, Pepsi Seven-Up Bottling Company and DHL in Nigeria, as well as Verde Beef Processing in Ethiopia. Alexander began his career at PZ Cussons, holding key positions across several countries. He assumed the role as CEO of Beta Glass, the glass packaging business vertical of Frigoglass Group, in September 2024.

Jagdish Agarwal

Chief Operations Officer

Jagdish Agarwal is a distinguished professional in the container glass industry, carrying over 35 years of experience. Starting as a Graduate Trainee engineer, he quickly rose through the ranks in the sector, combining technical and commercial expertise. With an Executive MBA from IIM Bangalore, Jagdish joined Frigoglass Group in 2004, holding various senior positions. An accomplished author and respected expert in the industry, he published the "Glass Defect Correction Handbook" and pioneered the concept of furnace Cold Repairs. Recently appointed COO of Beta Glass, Jagdish oversees efforts to optimise costs, enhance operational efficiencies, and unlock growth potential.

Hélène Paradisi

Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Hélène Paradisi is a highly experienced financial management professional with over 20 years of expertise across consulting, logistics, automotive, and mining sectors. A French national with advanced qualifications in Management and Finance, she has worked extensively in Africa since 2009. Her recent roles include Finance Director at CFAO's Automotive Division in Lagos, where she restored profitability in 2021, and Regional Finance Manager at MAXAM, overseeing operations in seven West African countries. With her diverse background and proven leadership, Hélène joined the Beta Glass team as CFO on August 6th, 2024, aiming to contribute to the company's financial growth.

Sharin Sweet

Sales Head Glass Division

Sharin Sweet brings over 20 years of experience in the packaging industry, starting her journey in South Africa with Huhtamaki Flexible Packaging in 1999. Her diverse professional career also includes roles at Astrapak and Tadbik Pack SA, while she transitioned into rigid plastic packaging with Boxmore Packaging in 2012. Appointed Group Sales Director in 2016, she became part of the Alpla Group following the acquisition of Boxmore. Joining Frigoglass Group in 2020 as the Sales Head of Beta Glass, Sharin relocated to Nigeria from her native South Africa and has since been contributing her extensive expertise to the team.

Gladys Umoh

HR Director Glass Division

Gladys Umoh is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over two decades of experience in Human Resource Management. Holding a B.Sc in Business Education – Accounting, a Master’s Degree in Industrial Labour Relations from Lagos State University, and an M.Sc in Business Psychology from the University of South Wales, Gladys has operated at Senior and Executive management levels across various sectors, including Healthcare, IT, and the glass container industry. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, Gladys joined the Beta Glass team as HR Director in 2023.
