At Beta Glass, our strategic priorities are centered around creating a positive and impactful presence at the local level. These priorities underscore our commitment to social responsibility and sustainability, guiding our actions to engage with and invest in local communities, prioritize local workforce employment, and actively support local suppliers. Through these initiatives, we aim to foster a harmonious relationship with the communities in which we operate, contributing to their well-being and reinforcing our values as a responsible corporate citizen.
Action:We actively contribute to local economies by providing employment opportunities to local residents, empowering communities, and exemplifying our dedication to social responsibility.
Action: Our employment practices not only emphasize hiring locally but also ensure that all employment contracts offer wages surpassing the local average, reinforcing our commitment to fair and equitable employment.
Action: Our target is to source the biggest share of our materials locally including major batch ingredients such as sand, limestone and feldspar, all of which are already sourced 100% locally. We minimize the materials we import to prioritize local supply and encourage new entrants to build increasingly cost competitive and resilient local communities, a testament of our commitment to sustaining local economies.
